Market risk, also known as systematic risk, it represents the inherent risk that affects all investments in the market to varying degrees and cannot be eliminated through diversification. This includes factors such as interest rate changes, inflation, economic cycles, and geopolitical events. Market risk is measured by beta in the Capital Asset Pricing Model and is a fundamental consideration in portfolio management.
