The Constant Gross Profit Method is an inventory estimation technique that assumes a consistent gross profit margin over time. This method is used to estimate ending inventory and cost of goods sold by applying the historical gross profit percentage to current sales. It is a variant of the gross profit method, which helps in financial reporting when physical inventory counts are impractical.
