The High-Low Method is a cost accounting technique used to estimate variable and fixed costs associated with production. By analyzing the highest and lowest levels of activity and their corresponding total costs, the high low method calculates the variable cost per unit and the total fixed cost. This method provides a simplified approach to cost behavior analysis, aiding in budgeting and forecasting.
