No-par stock, also known as no par stock, refers to shares issued without a nominal or par value specified on the stock certificate. This type of stock allows a corporation greater flexibility in setting the price at which shares are issued, as it is not constrained by a predetermined par value. No-par stock is often used to simplify accounting and avoid legal complications associated with par value.
