The IMA has hundreds of local chapters around the world, each offering networking events, professional development sessions, CPE-eligible meetings, and community for management accountants in your area. To join, go to the IMA website, log in to your member account, and search for chapters by city, state, or country. Joining a local chapter is typically free for IMA members. Once you join, you’ll get invitations to monthly meetings, virtual events, and special programs. For CMAs and CMA candidates, local chapters are also a great source of mentorship and job leads. If there’s no chapter near you, the IMA also offers a virtual chapter you can participate in remotely.
