First, take a breath — failing is not the end. Plenty of CMAs failed at least one part along the way. When you receive your score, you’ll also get a Performance Report showing your performance by content area, so you’ll know exactly which sections to focus on for your retake. You’ll need to wait until the next testing window to retake the failed part, and you’ll pay the exam fee again. Most candidates I coach who failed a first attempt come back and pass the second time. What separates them is honest self-assessment of why they failed (not enough hours, weak case-based questions practice, the wrong study materials) and a real change in approach the next time around.
