How do I submit my university transcripts to the IMA?

Home » CMA Glossary Term » General CMA Questions » How do I submit my university transcripts to the IMA?

You’ll submit your transcripts directly to the IMA, either electronically or by mail, depending on your school’s policy. Most U.S. universities now offer official electronic transcript delivery through services like Parchment or the National Student Clearinghouse — that’s the fastest method. The IMA’s mailing address and email for transcripts are on the IMA website. If your degree is from outside the U.S., the IMA may require you to use an approved credential evaluator (like NIES or WES) to verify your degree’s equivalency to a U.S. bachelor’s degree. You don’t need to submit transcripts before taking the exam — you have up to seven years after passing the second part. But I always tell candidates: submit as early as possible so it’s not a bottleneck later.
