What are the CMA exam testing windows?

The CMA exam is offered in three two-month testing windows each year: January–February, May–June, and September–October. You can sit for one or both parts within any window, but you can only take each part once per window. If you fail a part, you’ll need to wait until the next window to retake it. Within a window, you have flexibility on the exact date and time — you schedule your appointment through Prometric. I tell my students to register early because popular dates and centers fill up, especially the last two weeks of each window when people try to cram in last-minute attempts. Building your study plan backward from your chosen test date is one of the most effective things you can do.
